Last updated: June 2026

1. Company Information

Maxfix provides building maintenance, repair, and renovation services in Ireland. These Terms of Service govern all services supplied by Maxfix to residential and commercial clients.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By requesting a quote, booking a service, or allowing work to commence, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

3. Scope of Services

Maxfix provides building maintenance, renovation, and repair services. Services will be carried out directly by Maxfix or by qualified subcontractors engaged by Maxfix.

4. Quotes and Estimates

Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated. Estimates are based on the information available at the time of quoting. Additional work, structural issues, or unforeseen circumstances may result in revised pricing.

5. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in each quote or invoice. Maxfix may require deposits prior to the commencement of certain projects. Unless otherwise stated, invoices are payable upon completion of the work. Late payments may result in administrative or recovery costs.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients must ensure that safe and reasonable access to the property is provided. Clients are responsible for ensuring that the work area is free from hazards and that relevant information regarding the property, including structural issues or concealed services, is disclosed before work begins.

7. Warranties

Maxfix will perform services using reasonable skill and care consistent with standard industry practices. Any warranties related to materials, fixtures, or equipment are limited to those provided by the manufacturer or supplier of those products.

8. Property Damage

Maxfix shall not be responsible for damage arising from pre-existing defects, structural weaknesses, hidden conditions, or circumstances beyond reasonable control. Any claim relating to alleged damage must be reported in writing within 48 hours of completion of the work. Maxfix's total liability for any proven damage directly caused by its work shall be limited to the reasonable cost of repairing the affected area or the value of the service provided, whichever is lower.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maxfix shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of use of property.

10. Cancellations

Clients may cancel scheduled work with at least 24 hours notice. Maxfix reserves the right to charge a call out fee or administrative fee for late cancellations or missed appointments.

11. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith discussions before initiating formal proceedings. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

12. Changes to Terms

Maxfix reserves the right to update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updated versions will be published on the company website and will apply to services booked after the update.
